PURPOSE The Administrative Associate III, under general supervision provides complex administrative support work. DESCRIPTION Functional Area 1: Administrative Support Percent Effort: 40% - Prepare and route written communications and reports.
- Respond to requests for information and documentation.
- Assists with maintaining calendars, schedules, and appointments.
- Assists with coordination of meetings and events.
- Performs data entry and retrieval and maintains data files.
- Maintain inventory and order office supplies
- Send announcements to the faculty
- Maintain communication with departments regarding participation in college/university events
Functional Area 2: Student and Staff Support Percent Effort: 30% - Assists with coordinating activities and assign work to student workers.
- Assists with providing procedures training to new students.
- Assists with travel arrangements with staff in Deans Suite and set up itineraries and make hotel reservations.
- Performs and assists with other job-related duties as required.
Functional Area 3: Operations Support Percent Effort: 30% - Maintaining college website
- Responsible for university/college news
- Maintain college events calendar and post on website
- Serve as back up when needed to Administrative Associate V and Administrative Coordinator I
QUALIFICATIONS - High school diploma or GED
- Three years of related experience.
- Additional education may be considered as a substitution for the minimum requirements.
- Associates degree and one (1) year experience.
- Ability to multitask and work professionally and cooperatively with others.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills - word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- Five (5) plus years of relevant administrative experience
SALARY $16.05 - $18.02 /hourly, approximately. - $33,384 - $37,481.60 /annually, approximately.
