Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support data-driven initiatives by partnering with business and technical teams to identify, analyze, and document data requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data discovery, data lineage mapping, source-to-target mapping, and requirements gathering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data discovery sessions to identify and understand business data needs.
• Perform data lineage analysis and source-to-target mapping across multiple systems.
• Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and project teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, gaps, and quality issues.
• Create and maintain documentation for data flows, mappings, and business rules.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support data governance and reporting initiatives by ensuring proper documentation and traceability.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience leading data discovery activities.
• Strong expertise in data lineage mapping and source-to-target mapping.
• Excellent requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile or similar collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis concepts is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with enterprise data warehouses or data integration projects.
• Familiarity with data governance and metadata management practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality documentation in a fast-paced environment.
