Sea Rocket Water Adventures is excited to announce an opening for a Private Tour & Banana Boat Captain in Ocean City, MD. This full or part-time, on-site position provides a fantastic opportunity for captains eager to join the leisure and travel industry while delivering unforgettable experiences to our guests.

As a Private Tour & Banana Boat Captain, you will be responsible for leading exciting water adventures and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our customers. Responsibilities

  • Operate and navigate banana boats and other watercraft safely
  • Conduct private tours for guests, ensuring a memorable experience
  • Provide safety briefings and equipment instructions to guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of watercraft
  • Assist in marketing and promoting water adventure services
  • Monitor weather conditions and make safety decisions accordingly
  • Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions

Requirements

  • Minimum USCG 6-Pack Captains License
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong interest in water sports and outdoor activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Basic knowledge of boating safety and regulations
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment as needed
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus
