40 Join our team as a Supervisor of Patient Attendants! The Supervisor of Patient Attendant Services will oversee a team of approximately 30 frontline staff who are the first interaction patients and guests have when entering Emplify Health facilities. Those staff are responsible for warm welcomes and friendly farewells - greeting and guiding patients and visitors, assisting in wayfinding, and being an overall resource in lobby areas. This Supervisor also oversees staff serving in clinical areas supporting staff and patients for non-clinical care experience needs. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude of hospitality, experience in customer service and will have led teams.
What You'll Do:
Organizational Strategy and Implementation - Understanding market trends and the impact on their AOR, contributing to AOR strategic and operational plans, translating these plans, and ensuring the understanding, alignment and commitment of AOR staff.
Fiscal Management - Effectively using established processes to ensure accountability for effective operations and resource management.
Human Resource Management - Effectively using established processes to: select, align, engage, develop, manage, and retain a team of highly skilled staff.
Excellence in Service and Clinical Quality - Achieving seamless delivery of quality patient care and safety, excellence in patient experience and customer service.
Organizational Leadership - Providing leadership and accomplishing objectives by ensuring the integration of processes and initiatives while modeling collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Role models the highest level of service and experience standards with the Patient Attendant Services team, other Emplify departments, and all patients, visitors and other customers.
Actively promotes and advocates for a culture where teams provide exceptional, compassionate service to every individual who enters our doors.
Develops and leads patient attendants in clinical and non-clinical inpatient, ambulatory, entrance and lobby spaces in La Crosse and Onalaska.
Familiar with all front-line functions, and can fulfill the function of the positions when required. This includes greeting, wayfinding, visitor service, providing transfer and discharge transportation.
Responsible for meeting regulatory standards, complying with corporate policy and procedures for managing personnel, resources, supplies, and equipment in the department, and for promoting collaboration with patients, care partners, visitors and other customers
What You'll Need:
Associate’s degree in healthcare or a related field
3-4 years of experience in a related field
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
Teamwork: Ability to foster positive working relationships and promote collaborative practice.
Adaptability: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
What's Available:
1.0 FTE (80 hours bi-weekly)
Schedule: Monday-Friday day shifts, with occasional PMs and weekends as needed
Onsite in La Crosse, WI and Onalaska, WI with travel as needed based on business needs
