Designer

ALLIED KITCHEN & BATH

This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented Designer who is passionate about creating beautiful, functional spaces and managing projects from concept to completion.

We are seeking someone with exceptional communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a keen eye for design. The ideal candidate will play a key role in both the design and execution process, ensuring a seamless and elevated client experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or possess current work authorization
  • Lead kitchen and bathroom design projects from concept through completion
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and entire Sales team to develop and execute creative design solutions
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Create and present budget, design concepts, selections, and layouts to clients
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of showroom materials, products, and displays
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source materials and ensure timely delivery to job sites
  • Manage project documentation, specifications, and selections within internal systems
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and industry partners
  • Participate in site visits, client meetings, and showroom presentations

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional Saturdays)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Design software (20/20) experience is required
  • Solution-oriented with a goal-driven mindset
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Reliable transportation for site visits, events, and trainings
  • Strong knowledge of custom cabinetry design, including construction methods, materials, and finishes
  • Ability to develop detailed kitchen and bath layouts with a focus on functionality, flow, and space planning
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural plans, elevations, and construction drawings
  • Experience creating and reviewing design plans, including floor plans, elevations, and cabinetry drawings
  • Understanding of NKBA guidelines and industry standards for kitchen and bath design (a big plus)

Qualifications

Education

  • High School diploma required
  • Degree in Interior Design or related field preferred

Experience

  • Experience in residential design or remodeling preferred
  • Kitchen, bath, cabinetry, plumbing, lighting, or hardware experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with architectural drawings, construction terminology, and project management
  • Sales experience and/or decorative plumbing & hardware knowledge is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Expected Hours: 40–45 per week
