Job Description

Salary: $95,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements:

• We are seeking a forward-thinking data architect with 10+ years of enterprise data strategy experience.
• We want someone with hands-on success designing active metadata infrastructures and closed-loop automation, including metadata-triggered schema self-repair and structural drift remediation.
• We require deep expertise in semantic web standards, including RDF, OWL, and SHACL, as well as SPARQL for ontology-driven modeling and graph reasoning.
• We need production experience implementing policy-as-code controls with Open Policy Agent (OPA) or a comparable zero-trust policy engine.
• Experience integrating Caelum or Amundsen push-events with DataHub Actions Framework for real-time data quality orchestration and automated schema rollbacks is required.
• A masters degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, ideally with a focus on Formal Methods, Symbolic Logic, or Computational Mathematics, is preferred.

• We will expect you to architect and drive an enterprise-scale self-healing data fabric.
• You will help replace rigid ETL patterns with intelligent, event-driven data orchestration.
• You will design and implement active metadata solutions that keep operational metadata continuously engaged.
• You will build computational data governance capabilities across the enterprise.
• You will develop zero-copy multi-party data virtualization patterns.
• You will create ontology-first data models and semantic reasoning workflows.
• You will enforce contextual data access controls through policy-as-code mechanisms.
• You will integrate event frameworks to support real-time data quality actions and automated rollback processes.
